As President Trump took to the podium in the House of Representatives tonight, Speaker Nancy Pelosi went to shake his hand and he seemed to ignore it.

Watch:

Trump handed Pelosi and Vice President Mike Pence a copy of the State of the Union speech, and as he did so, Pelosi extended her hand.

He turned away and greeted members of Congress to were applauding his entrance.

Moments later, Pelosi refused to applaud for record low unemployment rates for black, Hispanic and female Americans:

“Unemployment rate for African Americans, Hispanic Americans & Asian Americans reached lowest levels in history,” Trump said as Republicans clapped but Pelosi sat glumly.

“Unemployment rate for women lowest level in almost 70 yrs. Last year women filled 72% of all new jobs added,” he said as the Speaker was mute.
