For the second time in a week, CNN has been caught editing the words of a presidential candidate in order to sway public opinion away from Donald Trump.

During a segment of OutFront with Erin Burnett, CNN took Trump’s call for Israeli style profiling and added the word “racial” to it, something the Republican nominee never said.

“You know in Israel, they profile,” Trump said on Fox News Monday. “They’ve done an unbelievable job — as good as you can do. But Israel has done an unbelievable job and they’ll profile. They profile. They see somebody that’s suspicious. They will profile. They will take that person in. They will check out.”

At no point did the billionaire claim he would inject race, which is illegal, into the situation.

The New York Daily News and New York Magazine also declared that Trump was demanding racial profiling but then could not provide an actual quote where the billionaire made that claim.

CNN’s decision to change Trump’s words and slander his character come just a few days after Jake Tapper slammed the Republican nominee for calling the terrorist attacks in New York and New Jersey “bombings” and then edited a statement by Hillary Clinton where she said the same exact thing.

Prior to CNN’s edit, Clinton said, “I’ve been briefed about the bombings in New York and New Jersey, and the attack in Minnesota.”
