Lydie Denier was emotional reliving the moment she realized her fiancé had been brutally murdered by Islamic terrorists in Benghazi, Libya.

Denier, the former fiancé of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, learned he had been killed by watching the “Today Show.”

Denier tells Steve Malzberg she wasn’t wearing her glasses, show she couldn’t see Stevens’ photo on TV.

“It was a picture of a man and with that picture, I had a bad feeling. I knew something was wrong but I couldn’t tell because I’m blind as a bat, so I need my glasses. I didn’t have them on.

“But they kept repeating that the ambassador died. There was the name under the picture but I still couldn’t see it.

“When his picture came back on the screen, I put my glasses on and it was him,” Lenier said, her eyes filling with tears. “It was a shock.”

When asked who she holds responsible, she said, “I hold no special expertise in politics. I’m an artist. I’m definitely not a politician.

“He was not a politician, either. He was a diplomat, which is very very different.

“As far as Hillary Clinton,” Denier said, “it will take more than six minutes for me to say how I feel, but obviously I feel I think she should have done a better job for security and not ignore his request.

“If he was a friend — she said he was a friend — then you don’t let your friend down.”

When asked by Malzberg if she believes Clinton is getting a pass, Denier said, “Well, she’s Hillary Clinton. The Clintons are very powerful.”

Denier said she’s working on a documentary on Stevens and his story. She said she’s tried to talk to Clinton but “hasn’t succeeded.”
