American women continue to face discrimination — at the hands of opponents of Donald Trump.

A Virginia fast food restaurant denied service to two women because of what they were wearing: Trump t-shirts and red “Make America Great Again” hats.

Shannon Riggs and her cousins had just attended a Trump rally in Richmond when they headed to Cook Out for some hamburgers and milkshakes, WTVR reports.

“As soon as we got to the window, someone inside said ‘Hell no! I’m not serving them,'” Riggs says.

According to Riggs, after a few minutes of discussion behind the window, the apparently offended employees eventually took their order.

“It was very unfair and unbusinesslike.”

“Everyone was laughing and giggling,” Riggs says of the restaurant workers.

According to Riggs, employees seemed to taunt them because of who they support.

When an order was called and someone in her party went to claim it, “oh, not for you,” a worker supposedly told her.

While the workers — who undoubtedly want $15 an hour — laughed, Riggs canceled her order and wanted to speak to the corporate office.

“They had this sense of anger,” teenager Lauren Wolfrey tells the news station. “They were just really rude to us.”

The restaurant chain released a statement after the incident:

Cook Out is, and always has been, a politically neutral company. We welcome all customers regardless of political affiliation.

Regarding the refusal of service at our Colonial Heights location, the situation has been resolved and was resolved that night per Cook Out policy.

“You should not be discriminated based on who you support, whether it be Bernie, Hillary or Mr. Trump,” Riggs says.
