Democrats new strategy to own the conservatives is to throw trash at a woman and watch her clean it up.
Jennifer Rubell’s art piece “Ivanka Vacuuming” is on display in Washington, D.C., and gives liberals the opportunity to degrade a woman.
Members of the public are encouraged to throw crumbs at an Ivanka Trump lookalike for her to vacuum up.
But wait, there’s more!
Rubell is also going to livestream the event so that other like minded liberals can enjoy seeing the first daughter of the United States degraded.
The Ivanka lookalike is wearing a pink dress, high heels, and vacuums crumbs off a plush, pink carpet.

“Inspired by a figure whose public persona incorporates an almost comically wide range of feminine identities – daughter, wife, mother, sister, model, working woman, blonde – Ivanka Vacuuming is simultaneously a visual celebration of a contemporary feminine icon; a portrait of our own relationship to that figure; and a questioning of our complicity in her role-playing,” a press release on the project reads.
“The public is invited to throw crumbs onto the carpet, watching as Ivanka elegantly vacuums up the mess, her smile never wavering. This process repeats itself for the entire duration of the performance,” the release added.
It’s also a complete joke to Rubell, which she made very clear in her statement.
“Here is what’s complicated: we enjoy throwing the crumbs for Ivanka to vacuum. That is the icky truth at the center of the work. It’s funny, it’s pleasurable, it makes us feel powerful, and we want to do it more,” Rubell said.
“We like having the power to elicit a specific and certain response. Also, we know she’ll keep vacuuming whether we do it or not, so it’s not really our fault, right?” she added.
The event is scheduled for Feb. 1 to Feb. 17, and admission is free. All people have to do is show up, throw crumbs at Ivanka to clean up, and then livestream it for social media to see.
The irony, of course, is that the exhibit exposes every stereotype that feminists claim to stand against.
The exhibit sexualizes Ivanka’s body, ignores her hard work, assumes she’s incapable of doing anything other than vacuuming, and ignores all of the hard work she has done.
In addition to mocking Ivanka for her physical appearance, the “art piece” also completely overlooks her role as first daughter, a successful business woman, and a White House advisor.
Aside from shaming stay-at-home mothers, the “Ivanka Vacuuming” exhibit also encourages people to throw trash at a woman, because apparently that’s “art.”
Imagine the media outrage if the Ivanka lookalike was Chelsea Clinton and either of former President Barack Obama’s daughters on display.
Feminists, liberal talking heads, media figures, and Democratic lawmakers would rage and demand the exhibit be taken down if it disgustingly portrayed the daughter of a liberal.
But given that it degrades and smears Ivanka, the daughter of President Donald Trump, no one on the left seems to care at all.
