Joe Biden attempted to jump start his flagging campaign for president by blaming Bernie Sanders for a 2017 shooting in Las Vegas.

Flanked by gun control activists, Biden attacked immunity given to gun manufacturers, and faulted his rival for the carnage he believes has been spawned as a result.

“We don’t grant that kind of immunity to anybody else,” he said.

“Imagine if I stood up here and said today I voted to give immunity to the tobacco companies. I voted to give immunity — if I did — to say I’m going to vote to give immunity to drug manufacturers who poured 9 billion opioids out on the market,” Biden said.

“Imagine, imagine if I stood here and said to y’all that I think that or I voted for giving immunity to oil companies for the pollution and damage they do to groundwater supplies, the air, etc.,” he continued.

“Folks, it’s just flat-out immoral,” he declared. “It’s just flat-out immoral.”

Biden then invoked his rival.

“You know, too many Republicans, and some Democrats like Bernie Sanders voted five times against the Brady bill that I was passing. Five times against background checks and waiting periods,” he said.

Reporters seized on the overt linkage.

“How is it fair to connect these mass shootings to one of your political rivals like Sen. Sanders?” Bo Erickson of CBS asked as Biden walked out of the appearance.

“You make that judgement,” Biden replied.

“Do you think Sen. Sanders’s votes were immoral? Can you clarify that?” another reporter shouted.

Biden ignored the question.
