In a fit of rage, a father threw a bagel at his two-month old son, police say.
That was enough for cops to charge 24-year-old Timothy Arbour with assault with a “dangerous weapon.”
Arbour “became really mad,” the child’s mother told the judge during a restraining order hearing, MetroWest Daily News reports.
The mother had reportedly arrived home and accidentally woke up the child.

When the parents discovered the baby had urinated through its diaper and got the bed wet, “Arbour threw the bagel he was eating at the infant, hitting the baby in his stomach,” according to Fox 21.
Police arrested Arbour and charged him with aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (the bagel) and assault and battery.
The father did not fight the restraining order request.
