President Barack Obama “veered” off the scheduled topic to take a swipe at critical Christians during the annual White House Easter Prayer Breakfast.

“On Easter, I do reflect on the fact that as a Christian, I’m supposed to love. And I have to say that sometimes as I listen to less-than-loving expressions by Christians, I’m concerned … but that’s a topic for another day,” Obama said during his brief comments.

Speculation was that he was referring to the previous week’s events involving a Indiana pizzeria at the center of a religious freedom debate and gay marriage.
