Even MSNBC hosts and guests can see Hillary Clinton has big problems.

The panel on Morning Joe brought up the latest polling numbers from NBC News/Wall Street Journal which found 42% of respondents have a favorable opinion of Clinton while an equal number disapprove.

Joe Scarborough noted her approval rating was 65% two years ago.

” … In the broader electorate, 25% view her as honest and straightforward,” John Heilemann of Bloomberg Politics said.

“That is a crushingly bad number. That is the kind of number you do not get elected president with a number like that.”

Acknowledging it’s still early and “she has time to fix it,” Heilemann concluded, “that is a bad place to be.”

Scarborough piled on, saying Clinton’s new numbers related to personal attributes are “Nixonian.”

Fifty percent of respondents do not view Clinton as “honest and straightforward” — a 25 percentage-point difference in the wrong way for Hillary.
