Former Spokane, Washington NAACP leader Rachel Dolezal — who “identifies” as black but was outed as being white by her parents — criticized white actors for playing roles portraying other ethnicities.
Dolezal gave an interview to local talk host Taylor Weech last fall and criticized Christian Bale, who played Moses in the 2014 film, “Exodus: Gods and Kings.”
“You have white, Europeans actors playing North African historical figures like they were in the ’30s and ’40s,” Weech said.
“You’re probably speaking to ‘Exodus,'” Dolezal responded.
They both laughed as Weech said, “Christian Bale — he looks like he’d fit right in!”
“Yeah, and Charleton Heston. … A lot of people might go to that film — hopefully nobody goes to that film, you know we need to boycott that film from my perspective — because it’s a miseducation, a misrepresentation and it’s highly offensive to, you know, the people who were living during that time and also to people today.
“It’s robbing and shredding ancestry and history.”
