Parents across America may soon be forced to explain same-sex relationships with their children a little sooner than they had planned. That’s because a major corporation broached the subject under the guise of “inclusiveness” – right in the middle of children’s programming.
Greek yogurt giant Chobani has released a new ad “celebrating LGBT Pride Month” showing two women in bed with one eating its product.
As she’s lovingly licking the spoon, the actor is using the sheet to cover her modesty.
She then tickles the other woman’s foot and pulls the sheet off her to cover up to strut across the bedroom.
“As part of our founding mission to make better food for more people, inclusiveness is at the heart of Chobani,” a spokesperson tells the Huffington Post. “We’re proud that our products are enjoyed by all and we celebrate that diversity whenever — and however — we can.”
The company contends the ad is to highlight “real, authentic moments in life — modern American stories.”
As Chicks on the Right notes, “Everything is normal now. Transgenderism is normal. Trans-blackness is normal. Transabled-ness is normal.
“Two naked ladies in bed together eating yogurt? Totally normal.”
Other women were less than impressed.
“They’re pushing the envelope here by glorifying sexual perversion,” Monica Cole of One Million Moms tells One News Now.
She points out the add includes the line, “To love this life is to live it naturally.”
“Chobani’s newest ad is supporting same-sex marriage, because the two women are wearing matching wedding bands,” Cole says.
“We know it’s being aired during ‘Full House’ on Nickelodeon – a children’s network – also on TLC during a family-friendly program, ‘The Willis Family,’ which is about a Christian family, a large family that has wholesome values.”
