“51”…”52″…”46″…”are you history lessoning me?” were just some of the answers Americans gave when they were asked about the Stars and Stripes.
Mark Dice hit the boardwalk at the San Diego beach recently to ask about the number of stars and stripes on the American flag, as well as what they represent.
“I can’t remember, man. To be honest, I’m out of it right now…a little confused,” one person said. He then asked how many there are.
“There would be 52,” one man said confidently.
Ironically, he was wearing an American flag t-shirt.
Another person, who claimed to have a grandfather who served in the U.S. Navy, said there were 46 stars on the flag.
“Are you intoxicated right now?” Dice asked him. “No, but I am going to go back to school and educate myself,” the man replied.
In Dice’s video, only three people – including one from Sweden and one from Brazil – had the correct answers.
