Mobile, Alabama police are circulating a photo on social media in the hopes of catching two black males seen urinating and sitting on a patrol car.
The Mobile Police Department Intelligence division posted on Facebook:
Do you know us?? We thought it would be cool to urinate on a police car that is parked at Knollwood Apartments! We have no respect for Law Enforcement! Please turn us in!!
While one man appeared to be peeing, the other sat on the trunk looking at a smart phone while flashing a middle finger.
WDAM reports it is “unclear if the person who took the photo is also wanted and what specific charges they could face.”
Several reacted negatively to the news station report.
“What’s your real purpose WDAM?? Because I can almost guarantee these people won’t be found hiding in Hattiesburg or its surrounding areas. Fueling the fire of hatred between individuals will not boost your approval ratings. I’m done with this news station,” Angelica McIntyre wrote on the news station’s Facebook page.
WDAM responded, “Angelica, our intentions were not to fuel any fires. Mobile is only an hour and a half away, so it could very well be that they are hiding near or around our area. We try to help all our law enforcement when they are searching for suspects by sharing articles such as this.”
