While Hillary Clinton claims people shouldn’t vote for her merely because she’s a woman, all she wants to focus on, it seems, is that she’s a woman.
Her campaign released a new video this afternoon in which Hillary claims the current effort to defund Planned Parenthood is a “full-on assault on women’s health.”
The ad, titled, “Support and Stand with Planned Parenthood,” Clinton specifically criticizes Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, whom she says defunded Planned Parenthood and left women “stranded.”
She also attacks former Gov. Jeb Bush because he “funneled millions of taxpayer dollars” into abstinence-based sex education programs in schools while “gutting” funds for “crucial family planning programs.”
She accuses former Gov. Rick Perry of “drastically” cutting funding for breast and cervical cancer screenings while he was in office.
“When they attack women’s health, they attack America’s health,” Clinton says. “I’m proud to stand with Planned Parenthood.”
The abortion giant, which received over $528 million in government funding last year, according to CBS News.
There is a movement to defund the organization after a series of videos showing executives discussing the selling of baby body parts were released over the last few weeks.
Five days ago, Clinton struck a different tone, saying, “I have seen pictures from them and obviously find them disturbing,” the New York Posted reported, which called it “a rare comment critical of an abortion-rights group.”
“Planned Parenthood is answering questions and will continue to answer questions,” she said.
