In this game of cat and mouse, it’s the mouse that appears to have 9 lives.

Rogelio Peralta-Espino, 30, is facing his sixth deportation to his native Mexico after ICE agents caught him again in Pontiac, Michigan.
First deported when he was 21, agents have been playing what Mlive calls a game of “cat and mouse” with the illegal alien for some 9 years, though he’s no stranger to the Michigan court system.
Espino has been convicted of possession of marijuana in 2006, obstructing and resisting a police officer in 2013 and driving without a license in 2013.
The latest criminal complaint features two pages of run-ins Espino has had with federal and local law enforcement:
- June 21, 2006: Ordered removed in absentia by an Immigration Judge in Detroit, Michigan.
- December 12, 2008: Convicted of possession of marijuana; sentenced to 122 days in jail.
- December 15, 2008: Arrested by ICE as an ICE Fugitive; deported.
- December 29, 2008: Arrested by U.S. Border Patrol near Laredo, Texas for Illegal Re-entry.
