Let’s guess: she had it coming to her, because, you know, her “white privilege” and all.

Surveillance video from inside St. Cecilia Cathedral in Omaha, Nebraska captured an elderly woman having her purse ripped out from under her arm by a black male in the church vestibule. As she turned to see what was happening, another black male punched her in the back of the head. She fell to the ground as they ran off.

The incident happened at about 11:30 am Tuesday as the church was preparing for Mass.

Rev. James Netusil says an usher rushed in and asked for a towel to help a bloodied woman who had been mugged, the World-Herald reports.

“Honestly, I saw the video for the first time this morning, and it just makes you cringe,” Netusil says. “After the first kid grabbed her purse, the second one hits her, and there’s no point to it. It was just evil.”

According to CBS 3, the 76-year-old woman was visiting from Johnston, Iowa and decided to stop at the church to pray.

Wayman ClarkShe was inside about two minutes, reading the church newsletter, when the attack occurred.

Omaha Police Department gang unit investigators recognized a man they say is 22-year-old Wayman Clark.

“Omaha Crime Stoppers received several tips regarding this incident, including several tips that also indicated that Wayman Clark was the possible suspect,” the department said in a statement Wednesday.

The arrest warrant is for the alleged robbery.

And let’s guess at President Obama’s next press conference, he’ll say, “If I had a son, he’d look like Wayman Clark.”
