A man was stabbed after he objected to another man taking potato chips off a child’s plate.
Portland, Oregon police say 30-year-old Robert Alexander was stabbed in the neck by Clarence Dorn Jr. after a dispute over “stealing potato chips from a child’s plate,” The Oregonian reports.
Officers found Alexander with a stab wound around 9 p.m. Saturday night. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Fox 12 reports it was not a “random assault” and that the victim knew the alleged aggressor.
Dorn was found a short time later at nearby McCoy Park and was taken into custody.
He was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on a charge of second-degree assault.
