Dallas, Texas Democrats held their annual Labor Day picnic yesterday and while Fox 4 produced a glowing report, what the party revealed about itself is a little more disturbing.

During the event, attendees were invited to post any reason explaining why they’re a Democrat and the party featured the responses on its Facebook page.

“I love socialism!” one person wrote.

“I’m a socialist because I love democracy!” wrote another.

“My hope in a 2 party system is partially restored thanks to Bernie Sanders,” someone else wrote.

A younger person can be seen writing, “¡ I’D NEVER BE A REPUBLICAN!”

“2 words — Donald Trump,” another wrote. “There are no conservatives on Mt. Rushmore,” someone else posted.

Meanwhile, instead of focusing on the positives about their own candidates, party leaders instead attacked Republican front runner Donald Trump. The event even included a time for party activists to beat a Donald Trump pinata.

“I think Donald Trump is a runaway train and unfortunately it has no conductor,” party chairwoman Carol Donovan tells Fox 4. “His campaign manager has resigned and the Republican Party can’t seem to get ahead of him to steer him in the right direction.”

There has been no indication campaign manager Corey Lewandowski has resigned.
