Some habits die hard to Seth Tichenor, apparently.
Vermont State Police say they clocked the Connecticut man going 112 miles per hour in a 65 MPH zone on Interstate 89. Trooper Rich Slusser allagedly observed him weaving in and out of traffic near Royalton.
When the officer finally caught up to Tichenor around 1:30 p.m., he told the trooper he was on his way to traffic court to take care of a speeding ticket, NECN reports.
Tichenor was arrested and charged with excessive speeding and negligent operation.
He’s due in court Oct. 27, according to WPTZ. It’s unclear whether he’ll drive or hitch a ride.
