According to a new Iowa polling, Bernie Sanders has now inched ahead of Hillary Clinton.

MSNBC reports Sanders has the support of 41% of Iowa Democrats, compared to Clinton’s 40%.

Last week’s poll found Clinton ahead of Sanders, 37% to 30%.

“There’s never a good day to have bad poll numbers, this is a really bad day for Hillary to have bad poll numbers,” Chuck Todd said.

Todd noted Vice President Joe Biden, who’s still considering a run, will be in New York for a late night TV appearance, an MSNBC hit and discussing a $15 minimum wage with Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

He theorized the visit was timed to essentially be “a poke” at the former junior senator.
