Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson have a message for the establishment of the Republican Party: “You all should be thanking Donald Trump that people are changing their parties because of him.”

The duo went to their local Board of Elections recently to change their voter registrations from Democrat to Republican so they can vote for Trump in the primary.

“I know you all didn’t think we’d do it,” Hardaway said laughing. “But we’re doing it and we’re doing it today.”

In the video published today, she explains why she was switching her voter registration, “He’s the only one speaking the American people’s language. He’s the only one that wants to work for the American people and he can’t be bought.”

Donning white caps with blue “Make America Great Again” lettering, and matching Trump t-shirts, they went on a road trip:

“We want to vote for him in the primaries. That’s why we’re switching our parties early,” Hardaway says.

The duo, who host a popular video series on YouTube called “The Viewers View,” first shot to prominence with a fiery defense of Trump after the first presidential debate. They harshly criticized Fox News debate moderator Megyn Kelly in a video that, to date, has received nearly 1.4 million views.

Hardaway and Richardson have arguably become the faces for black support of Trump. And they aren’t alone. Recent polling found in a head-to-head matchup between Trump and Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton, Trump was receiving 25% of the black vote.

In the last 40 years, Bob Dole captured the highest share of any Republican — 12% — less than half of what Trump is currently polling.
