Congresswoman Mia Love can’t be counted in the supposed party of “angry white men” who are criticizing Planned Parenthood.
Count her in the party that believes in life.
Shortly after the debate in the House on defunding Planned Parenthood, Love issued this stinging rebuke of her colleagues protecting the abortion giant.
“I am not angry, I am not white, and I am not a man. What I am is disappointed.”A moving statement from Rep. Mia Love on lawmakers who voted against redirecting Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer funding to better health care providers. Love has been a vocal supporter of LIFE, and a strong defender of the rights of the preborn.

“I’ve just listened to the floor debate about Planned Parenthood in the House of Representatives and I heard a pitiful defense from one of my colleagues on the other side of the aisle.
“He said that this is a ploy by the caucus of angry, white men. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’m not angry, I am not white, and I am not a man. What I am is disappointed.”
“I am disappointed because here we are with an opportunity to defund Planned Parenthood and take that funding and put it into women’s health.
“We have the opportunity to stop the torturing of babies. Stop the harvesting of their body parts while they’re still alive,” Love said, appearing to hold back tears.
“I am disappointed because this house — the people’s house — exists to allow every individual to reach his or her potential. To protect freedom, liberty and justice — but most of all, to protect life.
“So ask yourself, if someone is unwilling to fight for the life of a child, then will they be willing to fight for yours?”
