Hillary Clinton will gladly answer President Obama’s call to politicize gun deaths in America.
In a new ad, Clinton opens with statements by Obama, and then includes her own remarks at a campaign rally.
Interestingly, the ad also features Hillary’s fake southern accent.
“We’ve been told by some to quit shoutin’ about this. Well, I’ll tell ya right now, I will not be silenced and we will not be silenced. We must continue to speak up,” she said at an event in Texas, which is featured in the ad.
Her southern accent was also apparent the next day in Alabama.
“You know, when my husband became president thanks to a lot of you in this room, I remember after that election in ’92, him sayin’ to me, ‘It’s so much worse than they told us,’” she said to the Alabama Democratic Conference in Hoover, Ala. Saturday.
“The debt in our country has been quadrupled in the prior 12 years, the deficits had exploded. And so he had to roll up his sleeves and work hard.”
She added during Bill’s time in office, incomes were rising for “workin’ folks.”
“President Obama doesn’t get the credit he deserves for savin’ the American economy from fallin’ into a great depression!” she said to cheers.
