Michigan’s Traverse City Record-Eagle made a headline error of epic proportions Sunday and critics say in doing so, exposed its anti-gun bias.
Atop a news story on the horrifying crash at the Oklahoma State University homecoming parade Saturday, the newspaper included the headline, “Shooter kills 4; 30 injured.”
No bias here.

In reality, police say 25-year-old Adacia Chambers was “driving while intoxicated when she rammed her gray Hyundai Elantra into a crowd watching Saturday’s parade in Stillwater, killing three adults and a toddler,” Reuters reports.
When readers alerted the newspaper about the glaringly false information, editors issued a correction blaming “a page designer’s error.”
