Every good libertarian should believe in the old adage, “to the victor go the spoils.” Rand Paul apparently does not.
One of Paul’s senior advisors, Chris LaCivita, tweeted out a number of pictures in which he seemingly is griping about the inequality of the work space among the various candidates participating in the Republican presidential debate tonight. The event is being hosted by the University of Colorado and will be aired on CNBC.
LaCivita first tweeted out a comparison between Donald Trump’s supposed digs and Paul’s. Trump appears to have lounge space dedicated to the Colorado basketball team, while Paul gets what appears to be a tiny room and a toilet.
He added the hashtag, “#thanksRNC.”

He then tweeted out the space he says is given to the Carly Fiorina campaign, which appears to be some sort of workout space. “Someone has a jacuzzi,” he notes, again adding “#thanksRNC.”

LaCivita then complained about the theater space given to Marco Rubio’s campaign. “Check out Marcos (sic) threater !!!!” he writes.

LaCivita didn’t post pictures of front runner Ben Carson’s green room space.
The quality of the waiting areas assigned by the Republican National Committee may be indicative of the candidates’ latest polling positions.
According to a CBS/NYT poll published yesterday, Carson is leading nationally with the support of 26% of Republican primary voters, with Trump in second with 22%. LaCivita’s other targets of ire — Fiorina and Rubio — have 7% and 8% respectively.
Paul lags behind with just 4% of primary voters saying they would support him.
