A seemingly routine traffic town in the tiny town of Summerdale, Alabama turned violent when police say three illegal aliens attacked the officer.

Summerdale police Corporal Vince Miller pulled over a car allegedly containing three illegals.

Moments later, Miller yelled “10-48” several times into his radio, seeking back up.

“I did reach for my weapon multiple times,” Miller later told CBS 5. “It could have been fatal.”

The officer was beaten and bitten on the arm by the men. The driver, whom Miller was attempting to arrest for DUI, resisted. That’s when the other two exited the vehicle and joined in the assault.

“He did bite pretty good and he did take a little piece off it,” the officer said of his arm. “Folks aren’t as compliant as they used to be. They’re more aggressive.”

The illegals hail from Mexico and Central America, according to the news station.

Yellowhammer News reports the “attackers have all been charged with assault, resisting arrest, public intoxication, obstruction and refusing to aid a police officer.”

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been notified of the incident and arrest.
