Fox 29 reports authorities cleared the buildings to “put out fire, check for other fire incidents and clear the smoke from the area.”
There have been numerous incidents reported of the toys catching fire. Recently, Amazon advised customers to throw the potentially dangerous hoverboards away.
“We regret the inconvenience this may cause you but trust you will understand that your safety and satisfaction is our highest priority,” Amazon wrote in an email to customers, Yahoo reported.
