Could the home state of Bernie Sanders — a contender for the Democratic nomination for president — actually go for Donald Trump?

Trump Viewers View cropThe Trump for President campaign distributed a whopping 20,000 tickets for a Burlington, Vermont venue that only seats about 1,400 people, WCVB reports.

Thursday’s event at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts begins at 7 p.m., and promises to have a capacity crowd.

John Killacky, executive director of the Flynn Center, says many likely attendees will not be able to get in and adds the campaign “oversubscribed the event.”

Despite the tickets being given away for free, several capitalists posted them to Craigslist, with a pair going for as much as $500.

Burlington police say at least 6,500 people say they’ll be showing up.

Large crowds are a staple for Trump’s campaign.

The Republican frontrunner also attracted a massive crowd in deep-red Massachusetts Monday. Washington Post reporter Jenna Johnson tweeted this photo:

The paper reported:

The building — named after the late Massachusetts Sen. Paul Tsongas (D) — holds 8,000 people, and local officials were estimating that it was filled to capacity or beyond. That is a MASSIVE amount of people — especially considering that the high temperature in Lowell yesterday was 29 degrees and Trump’s rally didn’t start until the evening.

Days before Christmas, the campaign gave away 30,000 tickets to a rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, while only about 10,000 were able to enter.

The American Mirror was on hand and talked to several women about why they support Trump.
