There’s a whole new meaning to distracted driving.
Michigan State Police say a 58-year-old man was driving pantsless when he drove off the road and crashed.
Cops say the man was “watching pornography and masturbating while driving,” Fox 2 reports.
The incident occurred at 3:30 Sunday morning as the man rolled his 1996 Toyota car on the ramp from the Lodge Freeway to I-75 in Detroit.
Michigan State Police say the man was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected through the car’s sunroof.
He died at the scene.
“We see people putting on makeup, we see people doing different things as far as hygiene, as far as reading books, it’s almost to the fact there’s so much technology out there a lot of people are more paying attention to what they’re doing other than driving their cars,” Michigan State Police Lt. Mike Shaw tells CBS 62.
Shaw says it’s the “strangest thing” he’s every encountered on the roadway.
