Even talking to Hillary Clinton face-to-face can’t help young voters from feeling the Bern.

During a Q&A with young voters Saturday at New England College, the first questioner to rise addressed Hillary Clinton as “Secretary Sanders.”

“Secretary Sanders,” he said not realizing the Freudian slip.

He attempted to forge ahead with his question as the crowd began to chuckle. Realizing his error, he said, “I’m nervous, sorry.”

“That’s alright, I was nervous too,” Clinton responded.

“You’ve undergone enormous amounts of scrutiny,” he continued, “for controversial topics such as Benghazi and your emails. That’s also surrounded by a certain amount of distrust from the American people.

“What do you say to the people that would hold this distrust and how do you gain their trust,” he asked.

Clinton launched into a five-minute defensive stem-winder of a response, attacking the investigators of the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya to reiterating her defense of using a home-brewed server to handle her official State Department emails.
