Just how dire are Hillary Clinton’s primary election prospects?

A Super PAC supporting her candidacy is spending funds originally reserved for the general election on efforts to win the South Carolina primary.

CNN reports Priorities USA confirmed it will spend $4.5 million on “minority outreach” in the first-in-the-south primary state.

The Super PAC is spending the funds on recruiting “Latino voters, women voters” and other minorities, according to reporter Joe Johns.

CNN reports Priorities USA will attempt to tie Clinton to President Obama’s legacy.

“What does that tell us? Her friends are concerned about her after that narrow win in Iowa as well as the big loss in New Hampshire,” according to Johns.

He adds Priorities USA was “expected to keep its powder dry and save the money for the general election.”
