Bernie Sanders’ campaign wants to make it clear he’s in it for the long haul.
His spokeswoman Symone Sanders appeared on CNN Wednesday to say he’s not giving up.

“We’ve got 200 paid staffers on the ground in South Carolina. We have 10 offices. We have made over a million voter attempts, that includes doors knocked, and phone calls made.
“We have a nest of substantial resources here,” Sanders said. “We just sent another radio ad to South Carolina yesterday, we’re on television. But we do have Super Tuesday coming up.
“But we are invested in South Carolina for sure, but we’re also invested in making sure that we get touches on other very important states. So we’ll be back to South Carolina on Friday. But the senator is also going out there and making his case to folks today in Tulsa and Kansas City, tomorrow in Chicago because we believe we’re in this for the long haul.
“This is a fight that’s going to go all the way through to the convention,” Sanders said.
Politico reports Sanders is insisting he’s not giving up on South Carolina.
“This, from Day One, was going to be a very difficult state for us. We’re not writing off South Carolina, but you all know there are a dozen states voting on March 1,” he said.
