Hillary Clinton’s campaign believes in an informed citizenry and voter participation — so long as it benefits her candidacy.
MSNBC reports Clinton campaign workers refused to tell Bernie Sanders supporters the caucus locations in Colorado when they acknowledged they didn’t support Clinton.
“It’s really amazing. We saw last night bald politics in action,” reporter Tony Dokoupil said standing outside Clinton’s office in Denver about what he had observed Monday night.
“Those campaigners, the people working the phones, they would announce themselves as Hillary outreach workers and if the person on the other end of the line said that they were supporting Bernie Sanders, they would not tell them the caucus location was located. It was, ‘OK, thank you very much, goodbye.’ So it’s in the trenches and it’s getting real — only a few hours before the caucus opens,” he said.
“That is fascinating,” anchor Chris Jansing responded.
