Brit Hume has covered Bill Clinton for 30 years and he’s never seen him in such a pitiful, geriatric state.

During a segment on Monday’s “Outnumbered” about Clinton snapping at a Marine and telling him to “shut up and listen,” Hume observed Clinton is not the man he used to be.

“The younger Bill Clinton really was the big dog,” Hume said. “A person of prodigious talents.

“I covered his presidency. He’s the most talented politician I’ve ever met. The most charming man I ever met. He seems now elderly and frail and unwell. And I think the instinctive reaction of people seeing him is, ‘geeze, is he okay? Is he sick?'” Hume said.

“The times when his hands seem a little shaky. He’s a shadow of his former self.”

Melissa Francis observed Bill Clinton telling people to “shut up” — as he did with a Marine on Friday — that’s not “his brand.”

Harris Faulkner asked Hume, after covering Clinton for so long, what he thought has changed.

“I think he’s just gotten old,” Hume responded. “He’s had some health issues and it shows. I can tell you from personal experience when you start to get old, it shows.”
