A huge number of people are calling for Bill Clinton to be arrested, but they’re not Republicans. They’re progressives who say he swayed the Massachusetts primary election.

Bill Clinton electioneeringClinton was seen visiting multiple voting locations in Massachusetts on Tuesday. One woman claimed he effectively shut down one polling place for two hours. He addressed the crowd with a bullhorn with the mayor at his side.

At another, he greeted voters mere feet from the voting booths.

Now, activists are calling for Clinton’s “immediate arrest” for “clear, knowing and egregious violation of the campaign laws to swing an election in a significant way.”

A Change.org petition, which has over 79,000 signatures, reads in part:

It could not be any clearer in the Massachusetts General Laws. “Campaigning within 150 feet of a polling station, or in any way interfering with the right to vote”. Choosing the critical battleground state of Massachusetts, Bill Clinton should immediately be subject to arrest and prosecution. Bill Clinton was not only electioneering within the boundary. Although the spokesperson for Bill Clinton denies that he was ever inside a polling place, photos and video show him clearly greeting and talking up election workers inside.

After being told to refrain from this activity, which is a 3rd degree Voter Violation Felony, for which Clinton indeed must have known the law and chose to violate it, Bill Clinton does not vote in Massachusetts, and would have no other business in a polling station on election day besides campaigning for his wife.

We, the undersigned, respectfully ask that you honor the democratic process with all the dignity it deserves, and hold Bill Clinton accountable for the felony of his actions.

“We had to remind everybody what the rules are, that there is no campaigning within 150 feet of the voting booths because people are entitled to their privacy,” RT reports William Galvin, Massachusetts secretary of state, as saying. “And it’s not just him but his media entourage.”

According to RT, Galvin’s office called New Bedford ahead of Clinton’s stop, telling poll workers, “He can go in, but he can’t approach voters.”

“We just took the extra precaution of telling them because this is not a usual occurrence. You don’t usually get a president doing this.”

That was where he appeared outside to address the crowd.

“He completely blocked this poll for a good half hour at least,” Grace tells the American Herald Tribune. “Mayor Mitchell was instrumental in putting this whole thing on, and he endorsed Hillary right smack in front of the doorway to the voting poll.”

“I am sick with how much corruption there is going on. I don’t know what the answer is but we’re going up against a lot,” Grace added.

Grace posted  cell phone video showing orange barrels and yellow police line tape at the New Bedford voting location.

“I haven’t seen one person be able to come in and be able to vote in here,” she said. “Everything is blocked off. No person can park here.

“They are affecting the voting at this poll. It’s ridiculous. It’s fraud and illegal,” she declared while panning the camera across the scene showing the media and police milling about while dozens of observers are cordoned off.

“From one side of the street to the other, there’s no way anybody can get down here to vote.”

She laid the blame at the feet of the New Bedford mayor, Jon F. Mitchell.

“Mayor of New Bedford, MA campaigning for Hillary and blocking this voting poll!!! No one has come here to vote in the 2 hours I’ve been here by the door!!” she wrote in the video description.
