One of Hillary Clinton’s former primary opponents is making it abundantly clear he will not support her in November.

During an appearance on MSNBC Friday, former Sen. Jim Webb said she’s the one candidate he will not support — while leaving the door open to the possibility of backing Donald Trump.

“Would you have enough reservation about Hillary Clinton as a commander-in-chief that you would not support her for president?” Webb was asked.

He responded coyly, “I’m not supporting anybody right now,” with a smirk on his face.

“Would you vote for Hillary Clinton?” he was asked.

After a long pause, he said flatly, “No, I would not vote for Hillary Clinton.”

“Would you vote for Donald Trump?”

“I’m not sure yet. I don’t know who I’m gonna vote for,” Webb responded.

While insisting his opposition to Hillary is “nothing personal,” he added, “The reason Donald Trump is getting so much support right now is not because of ‘the racists,’ etc., etc., it’s because people are seeing him as the only one who has the courage to step forward and say, ‘we’ve got to clean out the stables of the American governmental system right now.'”
