“I’m going to ask you about Flint,” Welker said, apparently not realizing she was live.

After attempts by the anchor to get her attention, Welker said, “I think this is his last question,” likely referring to the anchor’s previous interview.

After asking Palmieri her initial reaction to the debate, Welker interrupted her midsentence to confirm with the anchor he was hearing them.

Upon confirmation, Welker asked Palmieri again about her reaction before shifting to Flint — the topic she was tipped off about.
