Bernie Sanders is just acknowledging what polls show, but Hillary Clinton’s apologists will likely complain anyways.

During an appearance on “The Young Turks” on Wednesday, Sanders said Clinton’s shifting positions are reason many people don’t trust her.

“Hillary Clinton has already started to turn to the center,” Cenk Uyger told Sanders. “You can tell that because during the debates with you, she constantly used President Obama as a shield.”

“Now she appears to be done with that because during her AIPAC speech, she bragged about her policies to the reporters about being more muscular than Obama,” Uyger said, provoking a guffaw from Sanders.

“And she said she would immediately have (Benjamin) Netanyahu over to the White House when she’s president, setting up a contrast between herself and President Obama.

“What does that tell you about Hillary Clinton if her positions are ready to shift depending on the politics?”

“That’s been the criticism of Hillary Clinton from day one,” Sanders responded. “And that is why, frankly, a lot of people don’t trust her.

“People say, ‘oh, she’s running against Bernie Sanders, suddenly she’s against the TPP, suddenly she’s against the Keystone Pipeline, suddenly she wants to raise the minimum wage, suddenly she wants to do this, suddenly she wants to do that,” Sanders said.

A February poll found Clinton is considered the least truthworthy among all the presidential candidates.

The Daily Caller reports 56% of respondents believe she is “not honest.”
