Bill and Hillary Clinton are hoping a few long distance calls will be enough to win Hawaii’s “preference poll” on Saturday.

Neither Clinton has visited the state to make their pitch to voters in the run up to casting ballots tomorrow afternoon.

Hillary phoned into KGMB to appeal to Hawaiians, while Bill recorded a phone message that will be “blasted” to voters today.

“Aloha. This is Bill Clinton, I’m calling on behalf of Hillary for America,” he said.

KGMB reports Jane Sanders recently visited Oahu and Maui recently.

The Sanders campaign is working aggressively to get people to the polls on Saturday.

Democratic Party leaders expect a “tight” race between Clinton and Sanders. KGMB reports party leaders say voter turnout will be “impressive.”

Bill Clinton has not been seen publicly since Monday when he seemingly lambasted President Obama by slamming the “awful legacy of the last eight years.”
