Not even America’s second largest city — a place teeming with more than 10 million residents — can turn out more than a thousand people to see a Clinton.

A frail-looking, raspy Bill Clinton addressed “about 1,000 people” at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College on Sunday, the Pasadena Star-News reports.

A picture tweeted by Francine Orr of the Los Angeles Times showed a thin Clinton waving to the crowd.

Maybe it was the lighting, but he appeared to be a shadow of his former self.

Another photo shows Clinton’s jacket draped on him as if he were a coat hanger. His large watch slipping down his wrist. The veins bulging in his hand.

A video of the event produced by Annenberg Media showed the former president and First Man wannabe’s hands quivering and his voice hoarse.

A pro-Bernie Sanders protest outside the CNN building in Los Angeles had “a few hundred” people in attendance, according to the Star-News.
