Hillary Clinton staged a campaign stop at a New York non-profit institute on Friday, and in doing so, served as a reminder of her mysterious concussion in 2012.
Two reporters tweeted photos of Clinton at the Jacobson Institute in Buffalo perusing medical technology and devices.
“Hillary Clinton, at the @JacobsonInstitute in Buffalo, learning how to treat a brain aneurism,” ABC News reporter Liz Kreutz wrote.

Meanwhile, Dan Merica of CNN posted a photo of the Democratic front runner studying medical equipment. He wrote, “Hillary Clinton, in Buffalo, watches a demonstration of how doctors remove blood clots from the human brain.”

The campaign stop may have been ill-conceived, as Clinton once had a blood clot of her own.
“While suffering from a stomach virus, Secretary Clinton became dehydrated and fainted, sustaining a concussion. She has been recovering at home and will continue to be monitored regularly by her doctors. At their recommendation, she will continue to work from home next week, staying in regular contact with Department and other officials. She is looking forward to being back in the office soon,” the State Department said of the incident.
“In the course of a follow-up exam today, Secretary Clinton’s doctors discovered a blood clot had formed, stemming from the concussion she sustained several weeks ago. She is being treated with anti-coagulants and is at New York-Presbyterian Hospital so that they can monitor the medication over the next 48 hours. Her doctors will continue to assess her condition, including other issues associated with her concussion. They will determine if any further action is required,” her doctors said in late 2012, ABC News reported in 2014.
“They went to all this trouble to say she had staged what was a terrible concussion that required six months of very serious work to get over,” Bill Clinton said in May 2014. “It’s something she never low-balled with the American people, never tried to pretend it didn’t happen.”
Will this force the media to revisit that episode, and the long term effects it had on her health?
