Hillary Clinton countered Donald Trump’s call for a border wall and a crackdown on illegal immigration with a single Spanish word: “Basta.”

Clinton is positioning herself to be the candidate for immigrants — illegal or otherwise — in the 2016 election.

Speaking to reporters in New York, Hillary said she’s had enough of Trump’s talk.

Vowing to stand up to “voices of hate and divisiveness, whether they are in our communities or running for president,” Clinton said, “As I have said frequently about Donald Trump: ‘Basta.'”

Reading from a paper, Clinton said, “I would create the first-ever Office of Immigrant Affairs.”

Her proposal would consolidate power over immigration within the executive branch.

“It would build on the work of the Obama administration task force and create a dedicated place in the White House to coordinate immigration policies across the federal government and with state and local government, as well.”

CNN reports it’s a move “that looks to solidify her base of Latino support ahead of New York’s April 19 primary.”
