One of the untold stories of Donald Trump’s massive victories in Tuesday’s primaries is his performance in the city of Baltimore.

derayThe city, which was rocked by riots and became a focal point for the “Black Lives Matter” agitators last year, actually cast more votes for Trump than it did for one of the movement’s leaders who was running for mayor.

Deray McKesson, perhaps one of the most effective people at converting police shootings into face time on cable news and social media, placed a dismal 6th in the city’s Democratic mayoral primary on Tuesday.

He was able to rustle up only 2,757 votes — or two percent of the ballots cast.

Trump, in contrast, 3,588 votes in the city, Phil Kerpen notes.

After 99% of precincts reported, Mckesson’s total grew to only 3,077, according to WBAL — still less than Trump. The Republican front runner received 3,950 votes in the city.

“While we did not win tonight, what we did was very important, and I want you to be as proud of our work together as I am,” Mckesson said after his pitiful showing, according to the Baltimore Sun. “We did something very special, and it sets the table for what else is possible.”

Is it possible Baltimore voters have more hope in Donald Trump than they do in the “Black Lives Matter” agitators?
