Could Bill Clinton’s coattails actually drag Hillary into the Oval Office?
Or to say it another way, are Democrats acknowledging it’s still a man’s world?
Huntington University’ FDN News reports the crowd at Hillary Clinton’s rally in Fort Wayne, Indiana was actually larger because she wasn’t there.
“Hillary’s absence played a role in its attendance,” reporter Randi Orr said.
“If Hillary had been here, I don’t think she would have gotten the crowd Bill got. Because, frankly, most of the people I spoke to today came to see Bill,” one attendee said.
“It wasn’t necessarily to support Hillary, it was to see Bill. Now, I don’t what she’s doing right now, but personally I think she should have been here to rally her own support,” he said.
“I think it’s a little unique that she’s not coming,” another attendee told FDN News.
“I’m glad she’s having her husband represent her, it’s kind of nice, but it would have been really nice if she would have showed up, as well. It’s a little strange,” he said.
Orr reported, “Hillary’s whereabouts and reasons behind her absence during the rally are unclear at this time.”
Do Democrats actually prefer a third Bill Clinton term, instead of a first one for Hillary?
