There was a Clinton operative masquerading as a journalist on “Good Morning America” today, and Donald Trump was not about to get Stephanopoulosed.

The presumptive Republican nominee for president had a combative interview with George Stephanopoulos on the ABC morning show that rendered the host nearly speechless.

Stephanopoulos demanded to know when he would be able to see the billionaire’s tax returns and Trump wasn’t giving in.

Claiming Trump tied the release of his tax returns with the release of Hillary’s emails, Stephanopoulos said, “She has turned over all the emails in her possession…”

Trump cut in, “She didn’t turn over — there are plenty missing. I read yesterday where there are a lot of emails missing.

“I know she’s a good friend of yours. And I know you worked for them and didn’t reveal it, but she did not turn over her emails. There are a lot of emails missing.”

Defending Clinton, Stephanopoulos said, “There were emails from her staffers missing. She turned over the emails she has.”

Trump wasn’t having any of it.

“There are emails missing all over the place,” Trump said. “The whole thing is a scam. There are emails missing all over the place.”

Stymied, Stephanopoulos reverted to criticizing Trump over his tax returns.

“But you’ve also said that you were going through all of the returns and you would release them as soon as you went through them. Now, you’re throwing up the audit,” Stephanopoulos said.

“I never said that at all,” Trump shot back. “I said to you we will release them upon the completion of the audit like anybody else.”

A seemingly deflated Stephanopoulos said, “Mr. Trump, thank you for your time this morning,” and moved on.
