A man angling to be Hillary Clinton’s running mate told one too many stories at a rally today and the crowd let him have it.
Obama Labor Secretary Tom Perez has been campaigning on behalf of Clinton around the country and his name has been mentioned as a potential VP candidate.
While tag-teaming with Bill Clinton in Chula Vista, California, Perez wanted to tell just one more story.
“And I’ve traveled to about 14 states and I want to tell you one thing about a story that I remember vividly from Nevada,” Perez said as the crowd began to grown.
“Surrogate woes,” LA Times columnist Cathleen Decker noted. “Perez has now been booed three times when he segues to another story.”

Buzz Feed’s Ruby Cramer tweeted the crowd “groans a little as his speech drags on.”
