If the loudness of cheers is any indication, Hillary Clinton’s supporters are more interested in restricting the gun rights of average Americans than they are confronting and destroying terrorists.

During Clinton’s speech today on the terrorist attack in Orlando Sunday, she said America faces a “twisted ideology and poisoned psychology that inspires the so-called lone wolves.”

To applause, Clinton said, “We and our allies must work hand-in-hand to dismantle the networks that move money and propaganda and arms and fighters around the world.”

But for the Clinton crowd, the real applause line was in reference to restricting the kinds of guns Americans can buy.

“It’s essential that we stop terrorists from getting the tools they need to carry out the attacks. And that is especially true when it comes to assault weapons,” Clinton said to boisterous cheers.

Raising her voice over the wild applause, she continued, “Like those used in Orlando and San Bernardino!”
