While Democrats set their sights on the Second Amendment, will they also make a move to strip the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments from the Constitution, as well?
West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin believes it’s not political correctness or a lack of will on the part of the Obama administration to destroy terrorists, but rather the Bill of Rights.
During an appearance on “Morning Joe,” Manchin said it’s that pesky old constitutional right of “due process” that’s making us vulnerable.

“If a person is on a terrorist watch list, like the gentleman, the shooter, in Orlando … That man was brought in twice. The FBI did everything they could. They did everything they were supposed to do.
“There was no way for them to keep him on the nix list or keep him off the gun buy list. There was no way to do that.
“Do can’t we say that if a person is under suspicion, there should be a five-year period of time, we have to see if there’s good behavior, if this person continues the same traits — maybe we can come to that type of agreement,” Manchin said.
“Due process is what’s killing us right now,” he said.
