The FBI is now hunting an Arkansas Muslim couple after they were arrested and charged with making “terroristic threats” — then promptly released.

CrawfordsAlan and Daphne Crawford were at Mel’s Diner in Prairie Grove when they became irate “because he felt she was slamming the door from the dining room to the kitchen, according to an arrest warrant affidavit from Washington County,” 5 News reports.

“Only a Christian would treat them like that,” Alan Crawford allegedly said after his order was “taking too long.”

Before the couple left the restaurant, Daphne Crawford allegedly told the waitress, “People like you are the reason we kill.”

According to the police affidavit, Daphne Crawford threatened a woman on Facebook after she made a posted inquiring as to who the Crawfords were.

“Daphne Crawford initiated a conversation with the woman in which she stated her husband, Alan, would show up with an AK-47 and is a former Navy SEAL, the affidavit states. Daphne Crawford also sent the woman a photo of her husband in Muslim attire kneeling with a weapon described as an assault rifle,” 5 News reports.

She was arrested.

Daphne Crawford’s bail was set at $3,500 and she bonded out on Friday from the Washington County Detention Center.

Alan Crawford was arrested on Thursday in connection to a threat he allegedly made against a car lot owner a few days before. According to police, Alan Crawford threatened to kill the owner after a car he wanted to purchase was damaged by hail.

After his arrest, he allegedly told FBI and state investigators he would not participate in any interviews.

After both were released from custody on Friday, the FBI launched a manhunt, according to KNWA.

Fayetteville, Arkansas police found the couple’s car, which was abandoned.

The couple still has not been located.
