In anticipation of potential violence by agitators against the police, Baton Rouge, Louisiana-area Walmarts have reportedly removed firearms from their shelves.

“Baton Rouge area Walmarts pull all firearms from stores in wake of (Black Lives Matter) protests,” Twitter user @romanichal_dad posted.
“Halting LEGAL SALES,” he noted.
The photo shows the gun cases are bare.
The American Mirror phoned the Walmart Supercenter on N. Mall Drive to confirm the report.
We were assured a “Mr. James” would return our message.
A call to the College Drive store so far has gone unreturned.
UPDATE 7/10/16:
Randy Hargrove of Walmart Corporate Affairs emailed The American Mirror the following statement:
“…Walmart has not given any directions to remove firearms in local Baton Rouge stores and we have no evidence this is taking place. We ask that you please reflect this in an update. Thank you.”
No calls to store managers were returned.
